Optical pigtail with a SC/PC connector is used to terminate optical cables in an optical switchboard using the method of welding to an optical fiber. Pigtail fiber G.657A2 is further protected by secondary protection with a diameter of 900µm. The secondary protection of 900 µm is semi-tight (SEMI-STRIP)
We supply optical pigtails in multimode and singlemode versions with different types of connectors (E2000, LC, SC, ST, FC, …). Pigtails can be ordered with a cable length of 1.5m as standard, but it is not a problem to make pigtails of any length to order.
