The tester can determine whether the cable is not interrupted, whether some wires are short-circuited, or determine the type of cable connection (patch/cross). It is possible to test loose cables directly using the tester or built-in cables using a special terminator that is simply connected to the other end of the cable. The maximum length of the tested cable is 300 meters.
Functions:
- < li>8 indicators (LED) for each individual twisted pair of RJ cable show correct connection.
- Integrity check (G) – for RJ45 shielded FTP cables
- 2-speed automatic scan function: ON – normal and S – slow
- Tests each wire separately
- The cable is correctly formed when parallel LEDs 1–1 to 8–8 light up at the same time!
