The tester is used to check RJ11 and RJ45 cables. With the help of this tester, you can test whether the cable is damaged, whether some cores are shorted, or find out the type of cable connection (patch/cross). This tester can be used for both automatic and manual cable testing.
This tester model is suitable for amateur use and is also suitable for professionals. This tester can be used to check network and telephone cables up to 3,000 meters in length. This tester is suitable for use in office buildings, hotels, warehouses and medium and large companies.
Thanks to the measuring tip of the receiver it is easy and quick to find the cable to check in hubs, even in large distribution boxes. The tester consists of a transmitter and a receiver. The transmitter and receiver are powered by 9V batteries, which are included in the package. The advantage of the tester is sound and optical signaling. For noisier operations, it is possible to use hearing aids, which are again part of the package.
Locator conductors uses an advanced frequency generation device that can generate an alarm sound at the end of the sound. The closer the distance, the louder the sound. In a noisy environment, you can use an external headset to listen to voice recognition, and you can also search for other metal cables through the adapter. The transmitter has a DC level testing function, and the level can be judged by the brightness of the status indicator: the brighter the light, the higher the level; the darker the light, the lower the level.
How to use it?
Red clip on test cable and black clip on ground. In this way, the signal will be stronger and the effect will be better. High-sensitivity sound level adjustment and headphone receiving method is more convenient.
Features:
- for RJ45 and RJ11 cables
- 8 indicators (LED) for each individual twisted pair of RJ cable show correct connection.
- Integrity check (G) – for RJ45 shielded FTP cables
- 2-speed automatic scan function: ON – normal and S – slow
- Tests each wire separately
- The cable is correctly formed when parallel LEDs 1–1 to 8–8 light up at the same time!

Warning
Do not use on live circuits to avoid damaging the tester. This device is mainly used to locate dead cables or low voltage below 24V. The F02 conductor locator is only suitable for single-core and two-core conductors, not for multi-core conductors and conductor bundles.
