Optical pigtail with a SC/APC connector is used to terminate optical cables in an optical switchboard using the method of welding to an optical fiber. Pigtail fiber G.657A2 is further protected by secondary protection with a diameter of 900µm. The secondary protection of 900 µm is semi-tight (SEMI-STRIP)
We supply optical pigtails in multimode and singlemode versions with different types of connectors (E2000, LC, SC, ST, FC, …). Pigtails can be ordered with a cable length of 1.5m as standard, but it is not a problem to make pigtails of any length to order.
